Overview:

Yunum Peak is not climbed as often, but it is a good alternative to Stok Kangri and Kan Yatse 2 in Ladakh. From the top he has a great view of C.B. Ranges and Mulkyra Mountains with views up to Zanskar. However, this trek to Yunam Peak is challenging, climbing to the summit over moraines and boulders at high altitude and in freezing winds, so only experienced trekkers can climb. The Yunam Peak Expedition is perfect for aspiring climbers who want to climb a less crowded peak than Stok Kangri. July to September is the best time to join the Yunum Peak Expedition.
